A hydrophobic impregnation coating covers the outer layer of the material and protects it from absorbing water. The coating causes moisture to bead on the surface of the fabric or knit, then freely flows off it.
All seams are taped, meaning each seam is sealed with a special protective tape that prevents water from penetrating the stitching.

The women's trekking jacket with a membrane is equipped with an integrated hood with volume adjustment. The neck is protected by a high collar, which additionally shields against cold and wind. The sleeves end with cuffs adjustable with Velcro.
